Kaw Kwang Beach

A wide-open beach at the northern tip of Koh Lanta Yai. The sand is soft, the water shallow and clear, and the pace is noticeably calmer than the busier beaches further south. A handful of beachfront restaurants and bars are nearby. Shallow enough for small children, and popular with local families for holidays and events. A good choice for anyone wanting space without travelling to the far south of the island.
