Monty's Paradise is as much about the host as the food, and Monty is one of Lanta's more memorable characters. The Thai food is cheap and well-cooked, the BBQ runs in the evenings, and the BBQ chicken and smoothies are standouts. Monty has been known to help guests sort out transport and even take visitors on scooter tours of the island. A casual, warm, and unpredictable evening out.
