Koh Lanta Old Town Pier

The old wooden pier stretching out into the channel on the east side of Lanta Old Town. Historically the main point of arrival on the island. Today it is a peaceful place for an unhurried stroll: fishermen cast their nets, traditional long-tail boats bob below, and the green water and island views provide an easy backdrop for photos. A shipwreck and several sculptures made from recycled materials sit nearby. Public restrooms at the start of the dock. No shade, so bring a hat.
