Uncle See Noodle & Somtam

A local restaurant where the papaya salad is excellent and the grilled chicken fills the street with a smell that makes the decision for you. The noodle soups are hearty and affordable, the catfish laab is earthy and good, and a full spread for two stays very reasonable. Primarily a locals' spot, which means occasional waits for the BBQ and sometimes smoky seating, but the food is genuinely excellent.
