Trang Airport

A small regional airport about 1.5 to 2 hours from Koh Lanta by minivan, serving as an alternative arrival point to Krabi. A new domestic terminal opened in 2025 with faster check-in and improved facilities; international flights are not expected until the runway extension is completed (currently targeted for 2028). Shared minibuses run from the arrivals hall to town. Useful for direct connections from Bangkok that do not go via Krabi.
