Sam Batik Lanta

A hands-on batik workshop run by a local artist who guides you through designing and painting your own sarong from scratch. The process takes a couple of hours and results in a one-of-a-kind piece to take home. Reasonably priced, relaxed in atmosphere, and one of the more memorable souvenir experiences on the island. Walk-ins welcome, but rainy afternoons fill up fast.
