Mu Ko Lanta National Park
South Lanta
About
A marine national park covering the southern tip of Koh Lanta and several smaller islands, known for dusky langur monkeys and long-tailed macaques. The roughly 2 km nature trail is steep at the start and finish but rewarding, with good chances of spotting monkeys. Wear proper shoes and go early before the heat builds. The trail ends at an east-facing white sand beach with shade and a calm atmosphere. Check current entry fees on arrival; the same-day ticket may also cover Klong Chak waterfall.
